Despúes de muchos intentos por reunirse los Alcaldes de la Provincia Gran chaco del departamento de Tarija con el Ejecutivo regional, José Quecaña se acordó por fin para este jueves 2 de mayo en Caraparí a horas 9:00 de la mañana para tratar la conciliación de cuentas entre estas instituciones.
El alcalde de Yacuiba, Ramiro Vallejos informó que recibió una carta del Ejecutivo indicando la fecha de la reunión y sus homólogos de Caraparí y Villa Montes aceptaron la fecha propuesta.
En la reunión se tratará el tema de la transferencia de los recursos que debe hacer el Gobierno regional, pues la deuda consolidada hasta noviembre del 2017, equivale a más 139 millones de bolivianos, de los cuales alrededor de 35 corresponden al Gobierno Municipal de Yacuiba; 56 millones al Gobierno Municipal de Caraparí y más de 45 millones al Gobierno Municipal de Villa Montes.
Según Vallejos la reunión asistirán los equipos técnicos y jurídicos de los tres gobiernos municipales y se espera que lleguén a un acuerdo que de conformidad a las instituciones involucradas.
