Durante el Facebook Marketing Summit 2019 (FMS19) en Rotterdam, Facebook mostró cómo estarán implementadas las nuevas herramientas publicitarias dentro de WhatsApp, las cuales llegan en un nuevo intento por monetizar la aplicación y aprovechar sus más de 1.500 millones de usuarios activos.
Olivier Ponteville, jefe de medios en la agencia Be Connect, estuvo subiendo a Twitter algunas fotografías de la conferencia donde muestra cómo será la publicidad que llegue a WhatsApp durante el próximo año.
En un inicio se destacó que los anuncios aparecerán en los ‘Estados’ de WhatsApp para aprovechar su más de 500 millones de usuarios, tal y como sucede hoy día en Instagram y Facebook. Es decir, historias publicitarias que aparecerán cuando estemos navegando por los ‘Estados’, los cuales podremos saltar, o pedir más información si estamos interesados.
