Entró en funcionamiento 5 aulas provisionales en la Unidad educativa de la urbanización de Bellavista, distante a 8 kilómetros de la ciudad de Yacuiba y albergará a 80 niños desde el nivel inicial hasta 4to. del nivel primario.
La escuela beneficiará a niños de las urbanizaciones de Bellavista 1,2, Periodista y otros barrios aledaños.
Asimismo, es importante resaltar que fue construída ante la necesidad de contar con ambientes propios, puesto que en anteriores gestiones funcionaba en ambientes prestados; además cuenta con los los servicios básicos.
El Alcalde Municipal, Dr. Ramiro Vallejos informó que el proyecto para afinar la construcción de la escuela se procurará hacer ingresar al reformulado del POA y si en caso no se efectue se incorporará la construcción de una nueva infraestructura en el POA 2020.
Por otra parte, la directora Distrital de Educación, Eldy Praxis Urzagaste, indicó que la UE. Bellavista está legalmente establecida porque cuenta con su RUE y toda la documentación al día; además se asignó a cuatro profesores con ítems del Tesoro General de la Nación (TGN).
La construcción de las 5 aulas fue realizada con la gestión de la Organización Territorial de Base, profesores, junta de padres de familia, Gobiero municipal y regional y toda la pobalación en general, pues se realizó campañas de donación de material de construcción.
