En horas de la mañana la aseguradora pública UNIVIDA y el Instituto Tecnológico firmaron un convenio de Seguro de vida beneficiando a 534 asegurados entre estudiantes, docentes y administrativos.
El Seguro cubrirá accidentes de tránsito, muerte, picaduras de insectos, entre otros, cuando se produzca tanto al interior como exterior de los ambientes del Tecnológico.
Según el Gerente Regional, Lic. Jorge Molina el costo del seguro es de 50 bolivianos por estudiante y el pago es semestral, es decir que el estudiante al momento de inscribirse cancela su seguro de vida.
UNIVIDA otorgará en caso de muerte e invalidez permanente 5 mil dólares y 500 dólares para gastos médicos y sepelio.
La aseguradora invitó también a otros sectores de la ciudad Yacuiba para que puedan apersonarse por sus oficinas para establecer un convenio similar.
