En el marco de la investigación al narcotraficante Pedro Montenegro, la Policía realizó 17 allanamientos en la ciudad de Santa Cruz, aprehendió a siete personas, identificó a los 18 que viajaron al Carnaval de Cartagena en Colombia y a los funcionarios que otorgaron identidad falsa al prófugo.
Montenegro tiene una orden de captura internacional desde 2015, acusado por narcotráfico en Brasil. Su caso resurgió porque en las últimas semanas se develó sus vínculos con el excoronel Gonzalo Medina, que lo condecoró en la FELCC-Santa Cruz, y con el excapitán Fernando Moreira, con quien viajó a Cartagena a inicios de marzo.
El comandante de la Policía, general Yuri Calderón, indicó que se allanó 17 domicilios y se detuvo a siete personas, entre ellas dos colombianos y cinco bolivianos.
El coronel Maximiliano Dávila, director de la fuerza antidroga, precisó que entre los aprehendidos están la suegra y el cuñado de Montenegro.
Mencionó además entre los allanamientos a bienes a nombre del excoronel Medina, el excapitán Moreira, Montenegro y otras personas. Incluso la Policía allanó una autoventa donde el prófugo y el colombiano habrían comprado dos Mercedes con precio de 180 mil dólares.
La identidad falsa
El coronel Jhonny Aguilera, director de la fuerza anticrimen, indicó que Pedro Montenegro usaba la identidad falsa de Pedro Hoffman, quien tenía registrada una actividad económica de venta de ropa con un capital de unos 40 mil bolivianos.
Indicó que el prófugo consiguió la identidad falsa en 2009, y que existen funcionarios del Registro Civil y del servicio de identificación que están involucrados en la otorgación del documento fradudulento.
Aguilera explicó que la tramitación se la hizo en una Oficialía de Registro Civil del área rural y que el responsable fue el notario Ángel T. T.
Asimismo, se identificó al operador del servicio de identificación Eynar S. G. como el responsable de inscribir la identidad falsa en el Plan 3 Mil.
Por último, se mencionó al entonces Director departamental del Registro Civil Arsenio R. V. porque autorizó la inscripción del certificado de nacimiento fraudulento.
El jefe de la fuerza anticrimen dijo que queda pendiente la aprehensión de estas tres personas.
El viaje
El coronel Aguilera informó que también se ha identificado a las 18 personas, entre ellas tres menores de edad, que viajaron a Cartagena, Colombia a inicios de marzo.
Señaló que el viaje fue pagado por Montenegro en dos pagos: uno de 15 mil dólares y el otro de 4 mil. Entre los que viajaron estaba el prófugo, el excapitán Moreira, el hijo de Gonzalo Medina, entre otros.
