El Fiscal General del Estado, Juan Lanchipa, denunció que políticos quieren mellar su integridad por el tema de su hija que es funcionaria del Tribunal Constitucional Plurinacional (TCP).
Aseguró que tener una familiar en le TCP no será un impedimento para que se investigue al magistrado Gonzalo Hurtado, quien está vinculado en el caso Pedro Montenegro.
Lanchipa respondió así a las críticas de políticos de oposición, quienes insinuaron que habría una protección de parte del Ministerio Público al magistrado Hurtado, dado que la hija del Fiscal General trabaja en el TCP, en la misma Sala del tribuno cuestionado.
El TCP ya aclaró que Vania Lanchipa, hija del Fiscal, trabaja desde febrero como Radicadora en la Sala Cuarta Especializada, la misma donde cumple funciones el magistrado Hurtado, sin embargo, negó que la funcionaria dependa directamente de dicho tribuno.
Lanchipa también negó que su hija trabaje con Hurtado y aclaró que sólo tiene un puesto subalterno con “funciones administrativas”.
“Es más, esto no será un impedimento o un óbice para que el Ministerio Público lleve adelante una investigación contra el señor Gonzalo Hurtado”, enfatizó la máxima autoridad del Ministerio Público.
La senadora Jeanine Añez aseveró que la Fiscalía no hace “mucha empeño” en buscar la verdad en el caso Montenegro y cuestionó si la relación familiar de Lanchipa implica encubrimiento a Hurtado.
El Fiscal General Lanchipa señaló que estamos ingresando en una etapa de campañas electorales y la rivalidad de los actores políticos ocasionará la difusión de falsas noticias con el propósito de empañar la imagen de cualquier autoridad.
“Lo que pretenden es cuestionar la integridad moral de quien habla y no lo van a quebrar, porque no habrá ningún óbice para llevar adelante todas las investigaciones y todo lo que tengamos que hacer, sin privilegios ni exclusiones”, denunció.
La autoridad aseguró que la investigación del caso Montenegro, donde se hallan implicadas varias personas entre autoridades y exautoridades, proseguirá con total objetividad,
“Lo único que queremos es encontrar la verdad de los hechos, sin perjudicar ni favorecer a nadie”, sostuvo, a tiempo de anunciar que el magistrado Hurtado será convocado por el Ministerio Público de acuerdo a un cronograma y en el marco de la normativa penal aplicable.
