A horas 15:00 del dia de hoy miércoles, se inauguró la bibiloteca virtual municipal y aulas de extensión universitaria en convenio entre la Facultad Gran Chaco de la Universidad Juan Misael Saracho y la Alcaldía, equipada con todas las herramientas tecnológicas de internet y computación que estará destinada a la consulta e investigación de estudiantes universitarios y escolares de la ciudad de Yacuiba.
La Ing. Paola Bustamante informó que la biblioteca contará con Internet WIFE con un velocidad de 15 Megas, fibra óptica, 18 computadoras, impresoras conectados en red y data show; contará también con una sala para la consulta de libros.
El Alcalde municipal, Dr. Ramiro Vallejos argumentó que la biblioteca se ha equipado con un banco de enciclopedias y material audiovisual.
Se hablitará una sala donde se capacitará a escolares en robótica en coordinacion con los Directores de cada unidad educativa.
Asimismo, el Decano de la Facultad Gran Chaco, Lic. José Luis Ayala enfatizó que este espacio educativo servirá de mucho en la formación académica de los universitarios y será administrado por el personal de la universidad.
Los horarios serán de 8:00 a 12:00 horas y de 15:00 a 17:00, el servicio será totalmente gratuito.
La biblioteca virtual está ubicada en la calle San Pedro y Avenida Los Libertadores, donde antes funcionaba una de las carreras de la Facultad Gran Chaco.
