“El Gobierno de Bolivia se comporta como un mal perdedor”. Así el canciller chileno, Teodoro Ribera, respondió a su homólogo boliviano Diego Pary, quien replanteó la demanda marítima boliviana en la Asamblea de la OEA.
El canciller Pary, en la reunión realizada en Colombia, se refirió el tema marítimo y afirmó que el diferendo entre Bolivia y Chile aún no ha sido resuelto.
Ribera retrucó a Pary que el tema marítimo no es parte de la agenda de la OEA y que fue la misma Bolivia que lo retiró cuando se presentó la demanda ante La Haya.
“No es parte de esta agenda y respecto de la cual esta organización no tiene competencia, y que recientemente, el 1 de octubre de 2018, fue objeto de un fallo categórico y definitivo de la Corte Internacional de Justicia”, dijo el ministro chileno, según reseñó El Dínamo.
Las palabras del Canciller de Chile merecieron el reproche del agente boliviano Eduardo Rodríguez Veltzé, quien mediante Twitter calificó de inaceptable el calificativo que usó Ribera.
“Perdió el respeto y la oportunidad de abrir un nuevo tiempo de diálogo constructivo”, escribió Rodríguez respecto al Canciller chileno.
