Según declaraciones del Director Distrital de Educación de la ciudad de Tarija, Lic. Eudal Tejerina Del Castillo, el Ministerio de educación sigue una demanda penal a la Universidad Nacional del Oriente (UNO) por no tener autorización de apertura de carreras como subsede en la ciudad de Yacuiba, por lo que carecería de legalidad en su funcionamiento.
La demanda que se sigue es por los delitos contra la Salud Pública y Estafa.
«Los alumnos estaban inscritos como si estuveran en Santa Cruz y pasaban clases en Yacuiba, por lo que los estudiantes han sido estafados». Dijo Tejerina.
Asimismo, hizo conocer que el representante de la UNO informó a los estudiantes que solo faltaba un documento para regularizar su funcionamiento, lo cual es mentira, porque existe un proceso penal y las carreras no pueden ser regularizadas.
Tampoco se puede convalidar níngún semestre porque el Ministerio de Educación ya ha emitido una resolución invalidando a las carreras aperturadas.
Los estudiantes que se ya se graduaron quedan nulos por estas irregularidades de funcionamiento, aseveró Tejerina.
Los estudiantes que se formaban en esta universidad hacían aportes de aproximadamente 600 bolivianos mensual.
Antecedentes
El pasado 13 de junio la Univerdidad UNO fue intervenida por el Ministerio de Educación en la ciudad de Yacuiba porque no contaba con la autorización de funcionamiento emitada por esta Cartera del Estado.
Son alrededor de 500 universitarios matriculados en esta Casa Superior de Estudios, provenientes hasta de Caraparí Villa Montes y Boyuybe.
