Con apoyo del programa “Bolivia Cambia, Evo Cumple”, el club Nacional Potosí construirá su propio estadio en sus predios en la zona del Alto de San Juan, de la Villa Imperial. La dirigencia recibió el visto bueno del presidente, Evo Morales, para construir un escenario deportivo con un aforo de 8.000 espectadores.
La dirigencia presentó un proyecto “racional” y acorde a la expectativa de la presencia del público que asistirá a los partidos de la banda roja. El presupuesto de construcción oscila entre los 14 a 15 millones de bolivianos.
Se espera que las obras inicien el próximo lunes 8 de abril, fecha del aniversario del equipo potosino. El estadio tiene un diseño similar al de Boca Juniors de Argentina.
El secretario general, Óscar Careaga, mencionó que se cuenta con el espacio necesario para la construcción del escenario deportivo, que tendrá césped natural y contará con todas las comodidades para acoger un partido de fútbol profesional.
