En la manaña del día viernes 12 de abril, las cámarás de seguridad de 20 unidades educativas del área rural del municipio de Yacuiba se integraron al Centro de Operaciones y Emergencias (COE) para ser monitoreados.
Las comunidades benefeciarias fueron San Isidro, Virgen del Carmen, Campo Grande A y B, 27 de Mayo, 12 de Agosto, El Palmar, Rufino Salazar, Isaac Maldonado, Caiza J, Villa El Carmen, Tierras Nuevas, Yaguacua primaria y secundaria, Héroes del Boquerón, 15 de Abril, Crevaux Sud y D’orbigny.
Según informe del Director de Seguridad Ciudadana del Gobierno municipal, Héctor Liquitaya son 60 cámaras PTZ que permiten una visión de 180 grados con un zoom de larga distancia; fueron instaladas tres cámaras en cada unidad educativa.
Asimismo, el Cnel. Anibal Rivas que también estuvo presente en el acto, manifestó que estos sistemas de vigilacia permitirá prevenir y actuar dentro de las unidades educativas, pues los niños están expuestos a ser víctimas de diferentes hechos delictivos como ser trata y tráfico de personas, narcotráfico, agresiones, entre otros; afectando su integridad física y psicológica.
Con este proyecto se dio conclusión a la fase del proceso de implementación de las cámaras de vigilancia en las unidades educativas llevadas a cabo por el Gobierno municipal.
