El canciller Diego Pary informó este jueves que los gastos de expresidentes, excancilleres y el vocero por la causa marítima cubrieron el costo de los viáticos, pasajes y logística. Esos montos fueron parte de los $us 14.364.621, que destinó el gobierno para desarrollar la demanda marítima contra Chile ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIJ).
Durante cinco horas, Pary fue interpelado en la Asamblea Legislativa sobre las acciones efectuadas por el Estado boliviano entre 2013 y 2018 para encarar el litigio marítimo en La Haya, que en octubre de 2016 falló a favor de Chile.
“Hemos otorgado todo el apoyo necesario a los expresidentes, referido en viáticos, pasajes, apoyo logístico a personal de apoyo para que desarrollen sus actividades”, dijo Pary en conferencia de prensa, ante la pregunta de si el presupuesto brindados a los expresidentes se trató de salarios o apoyo logístico.
El detalle del gasto que brindó el Canciller es el siguiente:
– Salarios a personal: 35 millones
– Asesoría internacional: 33 millones
– Publicidad y comunicación: 8 millones
– Pasajes y viáticos de personal: 4 millones
– Alquileres: 3,5 millones
– Asesoría nacional y traducción: 2 millones
– Vocería (Carlos Mesa y equipo): 2,8 millones
– Equipamientos: 2,8 millones
– Servicios básicos 1,6 millones
– Útiles de oficina: 1 millón
– Vocería de Tuto Quiroga y Jaime Paz: 710 mil
– Consejos de expresidentes y excancilleres: medio millón
– Procesó ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia: 412 mil
– Seguridad policial: 336 mil
– Comisiones bancarias: 327 mil
Pary aclaró que Diremar publicó en octubre del años pasado que el gasto era de $us14.018.000, pero hasta diciembre esa cifra aumentó a $us14.364.621 por pagos a abogados internacionales.
Los expresidentes
Pary también detalló los que erogó para la tarea de los vocerías de los expresidentes.
Indicó que a Carlos Mesa y su equipo se destinó Bs2.855.751, cifra que coincide con el informe que presentaron los diputados Santamaría y Quispe, aunque el expresidente ya aclaró que no recibió ningún centavo y que Diremar financió sus viajes para la tarea de vocería.
Para el expresidente Jaime Paz se erogó Jaime paz Bs325.065, mientras que para Tuto QuirogaBs385.292, según mencionó Pary.
El Canciller explicó que ese dinero se gastó en pasajes, hospedaje, alimentación, apoyo logístico y personal de apoyo de los exmandatarios.
Agregó que también hubo gastos para viajes de excancilleres y el expresidente Guido Vildoso.
El juicio por el mar en La Haya se desarrolló entre 2013 y 2018. El 1 de octubre la Corte falló a favor de Chile.
