Así lo expresó la escritora argentina Claudia Piñeiro en el último Congreso de la Lengua Española que se realizó en marzo en Córdoba, Argentina.
El debate por el lenguaje inclusivo en cuanto al género lleva años aunque se hizo más fuerte con el surgimiento de los movimiento #MeToo y #niunamenos, en los que se denuncian los abusos contra la mujer y se reclaman por sus derechos.
Este 23 de abril se celebra el Día de la lengua española, decretado por las Naciones Unidas y para concientizar a sus empleados y al mundo en general, la organización decidió hablar este año sin barreras de género.
«Cuando hablamos de lenguaje inclusivo en cuanto al género, de lo que hablamos es de utilizar la lengua, ya sea bien en el oral o el escrito, de una manera que no discrimine ningún sexo, género o identidad de género«, dice Ana García Álvarez, coordinadora de formación, divulgación y asuntos de género del Departamento de Gestión de Conferencias de las Naciones Unidas.
La ONU publicó una guía de recursos y orientaciones para emplear un lenguaje inclusivo en cuanto al género en todo tipo de situación comunicativa.
