En horas de la mañana en el Campus universitario de la ciudad de Yacuiba a través de un convenio firmado entre las Universidades Juan Misael Saracho, Domingo Savio, Católica Boliviana San Pablo y el Gobierno Autónomo Departamental de Tarija lanzaron la primera convocatoria del programa «beca futuro» dirigido a profesionales destacados del departamento de Tarija.
Este programa tiene el objetivo de becar a profesionales destacados por su exelencia académica para realizar cursos de especialización y maestría a cualquier país extranjero respaldado por la Ley departamental N° 352.
Los profesionales pueden postularse a la Universidad Católica Boliviana (UCB), Universidad Autónoma Juan Misael Saracho (UAJMS) y la Universidad Privada Domingo Savio (UPDS) cumpliendo una serie de requisitos que se encuentran regulados por las universidades.
Según el Decano de la Facultad del Gran Chaco, Lic. José Luis Ayala este programa tiene como meta llegar a 50 becados donde los interesados deben obtener un puntaje no menor a los 70 puntos.
«La condición de la beca es que una vez hayan concluido su formación tienen que retornar al departamento a prestar sus servicios para que de esta forma le devuelvan al departamento el gasto» dijo el Gobernador de Tarija, Adrián Oliva.
Tipos de becas.
En esta primera convocatoria hay dos tipos de becas: la primera consiste en 15 becas con una inversión de 20.000 $us. (Especialidad o maestría) que cubre los pasajes de ida y vuelta y asignación mensual dependiendo de la universidad y destino para postulantes; además de la excelencia académica, se realizará una evaluación para determinar el apoyo financiero que requiera.
La segunda referida a 15 becas parciales que cubrirá hasta un 80% de los costos de postgrado, hasta un monto de 10.000 $us. En ambos casos en que los costos sean superiores al monto establecido, el postulante debe demostrar la capacidad financiera para cubrir los costos adicionales.
