Justiniano es investigado porque se lo observa en fotografías junto al prófugo por narcotráfico Pedro Montenegro, en un viaje a Cartagena de Indias a inicios de marzo. El viaje fue pagado por el fugitivo.
El hijo de Medina fue capturado el miércoles 24 de abril por personal de inteligencia, cuando transitaba por el Palacio de Justicia de Santa Cruz.
Según la Policía, Justiniano se presenta como hijo de Medina, pero no existiría una relación de sangre directa y tampoco está claro si es su hijastro.
Antes, los otros implicados Medina y el excapitán Fernando Moreira fueron enviados a celdas de la FELCC para cumplir su detención preventiva.
